Ok, so I know I haven't posted for quite a while. I've had several reasons:
1. My tablet screen crapped out and I have yet to purchase another one.
2. Rotations have been much more time consuming than I had previously thought, and I wanted to devote my full attention to the learning and patient care therein.
3. I had Step 2 of the boards to take (ugh)
4. I now have residency applications to put forth and work on so time is still pretty tight.
Therefore, I will be updating this whenever possible, but don't expect it too often. I have one of those Google tablet things I use for the wards, and will experiment to see if I can draw comics on that, but the stylus is really not conducive to drawing. We shall see.
Most importantly, one of my comics, Medical Jargon was recently used in a TEDMED talk by Sally Okun entitled "Does anyone in Healthcare Want to be Understood?" check out 1:18 for the appearance of the comic, but really, the whole talk is really quite good. Thank you, Sally, for deeming my comic worthy of inclusion in your discussion on the lexicon of healthcare, and great job on your talk!
That's all for now,
Tommy
Welcome to Indeterminate Causality! This is a site of my (mostly) medically related comics. If you like what you find here, please comment and tell your friends. If you don't, tell your friends that you did anyway so they can join you in your sorrows.
About Indeterminate Causality
Indeterminate Causality is a collection of some of my comics, doodles, and sketches. It's a commentary on life, situations we all find ourselves in, the world of medicine, being a guy, and interpersonal interactions, with a slant towards making scenarios as amusing as possible. Updated Monday-Wednesday-Friday (I try, sometimes its difficult with school/exams and such).
